Hi Julie,

A very warm welcome to the forum - lots of info and advice on here for you when you need it.

I`m Kathleen, diagnosed almost six years ago, and currently taking the anti-TNF humira, which has made a considerable difference to my quality of life.

I`m 60, married to Nick, and we have two grown-up sons and two little grandsons. I`m retired now, having worked as a teacher, and we live up north in Durham.

Take care,

Kathleen C x

Hi Julie

Hello and welcome to the forum, you will get much support and understanding - not to mention advice you will not find anywhere else !

I have had RA for about two and half years now, have recently started Cimzia, and crossing my fingers this will do wonders as the dmards didn t do the job in the past.

Best wishes and keep posting.

Hi Julie

Welcome to the forum. A great place to be for support and information; lots of folk, lots of knowledge and a wealth of tried and tested experiences! Glad you have found us and NRAS!

I'm Lyn, married to Mike, we have four 'kidults' Abby 23, Ian and Jake 18, and Louis 17. We live in Thornton Cleveleys in north west Lancashire. I was diagnosed with RA over 23 years ago and have since run the gauntlet of medication, had several surgical procedures along the way and looks like more in the offing! Currently on Prednisolone, Methotrexate and Naproxen. Been on anti-tnf for 8 years but just stopped due to lack of efficacy, and starting Rituximab next week. Add to that little lot a bucket load of pain killers and other bits and pieces! But heyho...

Keep posting Julie and good luck with the anti-tnf assessment Smile
